Design can shape interaction before a conversation even begins.

For the entry of the MIT-IBM Computing Research Lab, Uhuru Design co-designed and built this custom circular bench to create a natural place for connection.

Its circular form is intentional. With no head of the table and no hierarchy, researchers, students and visitors can gather on equal footing. It’s a simple design decision that helps turn an entryway into a place where ideas and conversations can begin.

A thoughtful example of form, function and the role furniture can play in shaping how people experience a space.

A new foundation for Monolit.

Designed by Cecilie Manz for FRITZ HANSEN, the Monolit Chair is now available with a wooden base, bringing a warmer, more natural expression to its distinctive cocooning form.

The new base introduces the character and tactility of wood while opening up even more possibilities for specification. Paired with Monolit’s range of upholstery options, it allows for combinations that feel understated and tonal or introduce contrast through material, texture, and finish.

Sustainable by design. More possibilities than ever.

Designed by nendo for Fritz Hansen, the N02 Recycle chair pairs a sculptural, folded-paper-inspired form with a shell made from upcycled household plastic waste. Thoughtfully designed for comfort, durability, and everyday use, it’s a versatile choice for workplaces, meeting spaces, dining areas, and beyond.

Now available in an array of upholstery options, N02 Recycle chair offers even greater versatility, bringing added warmth, texture, and customization to a design already made to adapt.

A study in repetition, proportion, and thoughtful detail.

Designed by Keiji Ashizawa Design (KAD) for Stellar Works, the OUGI Collection draws inspiration from the traditional Japanese folding fan, translating its vertical rhythm into a calm, architectural expression across bar, dining, and lounge seating.

Gentle concave detailing and delicately tapered wooden legs create a light, elegant silhouette, while soft, enveloping cushions bring warmth and comfort to each piece.

A collection where quiet form, thoughtful function, and timeless character come together.

Introducing Lam, UHURU DESIGN's new system that reimagines the workplace as a connected architectural neighborhood. Inspired by mass timber construction, workstations and vignettes gather like hubs along a central beam that spans multiple workstations with refreshingly few legs, literally, and no extra support in between.

Uhuru Design debuted Lam at Fulton Market Design Days this year, and we’re thrilled to share that it’s been named a 2026 Interior Design Magazine, HiP Awards Honoree.

A great workplace is built through collaboration, and this Dallas project is a perfect example.

We were proud to partner with WRG Texas and Interior Architects, Dallas, on Lockton's new Dallas office, where a custom Tiffany banquette from Here Now helps create a welcoming, functional space for employees and guests alike.

From thoughtful design to custom solutions, it's always rewarding to see a vision come to life.

MRG partnered with Loll Contract (Loll Designs) for the City of West University’s Houston parks and recreation space, bringing in Loll’s iconic Adirondack and Rocking Adirondack Chairs to create outdoor moments people naturally gravitate toward.

The campus blends modern academic spaces with collaborative, flexible areas designed to support diverse learning and study styles.

Casala supplied Kabanna, a room-in-room furniture solution that combines aesthetic refinement with functional performance. Positioned strategically in open areas, Kabanna pods help create semi-closed workspaces that balance privacy with spatial openness.
