Reclaiming downed trees, whether in Yosemte National park, or the streets of Sacramento, is a rewarding effort to ensure the trees don’t end up in a campfire or landfill.

Reclaiming live oak from a property in shingle springs. The family had to remove the trees for safety and didn’t want them chopped for firewood or sent to a landfill. Now the have a couple dozen 2.5 inch slabs to make furniture.
