Before choosing kitchen cabinets, don’t start with color.
Start with the room.
Measure the walls, note windows, doors, appliances, plumbing and ceiling height, then think through how you actually use the space. That is how you avoid ordering a cabinet that looks right online but does not work in the finished kitchen.
A good cabinet plan also accounts for fillers, panels, trim and storage, not just base and wall cabinets.
