Getting lost in this grain
01/01/2021
2020 was incredulous, but my gratitude is real. I can't begin to describe the impact of what I've learned, and the work I have ahead. I'm not quite sure where the journey into 2021 will take me, but I feel better prepared for the ride.
I just wanted to take a moment to say Thanks.
Thanks to all of you that gave your support, your encouragement, and sometimes your patience :). It honestly means the world.
All of us are just searching for our little piece of the pie and you all certainly make it a bit sweeter.
Cheers to the next round. 🥂

Instead of cutting in a handle for these, I went with a large bevel on the bottom, complemented by a small chamfered edge. I really like the modern look it gives these bamboo boards.

I will absolutely make more of these.

These are fun to make. This one is currently making its way through the USPS maze on its way home.

Bamboo Cigar tray. I've never tried bamboo as an ashtray so a little experimenting is needed before we can go full on production 😎

I haven't posted in awhile, but I thought I'd pop on to say how grateful I am for all you amazing people! I'm happily buried in the holiday rush 🎅. Unfortunately, as a one-man band, I can't accept any new orders to make it on time for your gift giving bonanza, but rest assured - for those of you that I've connected with, your orders are on the way!
In the meantime, I'll still be here - hustlin', experimentin', and finishin' up a few personal projects that allow me to come back even better in 2021. Just DM if you need anything ✌️
Upon request - Get your stogies ready...these cigar trays are coming soon.

Bamboo all day!
I'm definitely proud of this batch of cutting boards. I honestly do my best to use responsibly sourced hardwoods in my projects, and will often wait for the right pieces to show up. Sometimes it's just not possible, so I've been experimenting a little with bamboo and some of the rich color variations that exist through the carbonization process. I really like eco friendly stuff, but often it's super boring. So, by mixing standard & carbonized bamboo, you can shake things up a bit and create eco friendly products with a little pizazz 😎
