Yall. This piece.
I went to pick up another piece of furniture and I saw this one in the corner and asked about it. He sold it to me for $20.
I knew I wanted to restore and not paint it. Turns out, I fell in love with it and we are keeping it! But my gosh, it took a lot of work to sand this thing down to raw wood.
Since I do this for fun on the side, I only do it when it’s the perfect time, which is rare.
I started this one in January lol.

Thank you to my sweet husband for helping me with the hardware and painting the base. He chose a perfect color.

From lost in a garage, to being loved in my home.

A dog had gotten a hold of this one and chewed the legs a little bit.

I added a little wood filler, but left some chew marks to enhance it the distressed look.

When I see dog chews, I don’t get discouraged! A lot of times it adds to the look.

Check this one out!
This was one of the most challenging projects I’ve done yet.
There was mold.
So many deep stains.
This is such a vintage piece, I would’ve loved to get it back to its original state, but that could not happen because of the deep, penetrating damage. The owner also going for the more modern look.
