A rooftop designed to work through every season.
🍂❄️

IOS recently completed a furniture upgrade for the VASO outdoor rooftop, replacing pieces that had been there since the space first opened and had become warped and weather-damaged over time.

What made this project especially unique was the need for furniture that could serve more than one purpose. The new selections work in the outdoor cabanas during the warmer months and can transition into the rooftop igloos when the temperatures cool down.

Last week, Megan, Heather, and Alison went to Cincinnati for the 19th annual CET Experience with Configura

A conference filled with educational sessions, industry connections, (peep the friendship bracelets), and an evening at the Time Traveler’s Ball.

The conference offered plenty of opportunities to learn, connect, and have a little fun. The team also celebrated Kimball International’s award for Most Innovative Extension! Congrats 🎉

Our latest team outing took us through Jackson Center and Bellefontaine, where we explored a few work-related stops, connected with local partners, and enjoyed the day as a group.

A successful install day starts before the furniture arrives.

Joe shares a few simple ways clients can help keep the process moving:

-clear out the installation areas.
-make sure doors are unlocked.
-have the space ready for our team to come in.

It also helps to keep loading areas, hallways, elevators, and doorways free of obstacles and to designate an on-site contact who can answer questions or confirm placement when needed.

A little preparation goes a long way toward keeping the installation safe, efficient, and on schedule as the new space begins to take shape.

The finished space may be what everyone sees, but the transformation truly begins with the process behind it.

Every project starts with listening.

We take time to understand how a space needs to function, who will use it, and what experience our client wants to create.

From there, our designers, project managers, delivery team, and installers work together to move the project from an initial idea to a completed environment.

There are floor plans, product selections, measurements, site visits, deliveries, adjustments, boxes, tools, and plenty of behind-the-scenes coordination. It rarely looks polished during the process, but each step plays an important role in achieving the final result.
