Well, look who got dressed for company.
Our Asheville friend's new chairs arrived, and they sent us these photos of the table we made for them. We’ve been admiring the combination ever since.
Those soft cream curves beside the bold grain and natural edges of the wood? An excellent choice. The chairs give the table room to show off, while tying it beautifully into the rest of their home. Follow those warm ribbons of color down the tabletop, and you’ll understand why we had trouble picking a favorite photo.
There’s something especially rewarding about seeing a piece we built become part of someone’s everyday surroundings. We know this table from its days in the shop—now we get to see where the coffee will be poured, friends will pull up a chair, and dinner might stretch well into the evening.
To our Asheville friends: thank you for trusting Blowing Rock Woodworks with your table—and for letting us see the whole picture. You absolutely nailed the chairs.
Have the chairs but need the table? Or have a vision and need someone to help bring it to life? Let’s talk.
