Modern or traditional?
We get this question a lot, and the answer is both. We work with manufacturers across a wide range of styles, and the common thread isn’t a look, it’s the quality of ex*****on. As we like to say, we only do “progetti ben fatti,” well done projects.

What do Japanese and Italian design have in common?
A respect for materials that age beautifully and geometric forms that are so clear they immediately communicate their purpose.
These principles shaped this Palisades home, from the pickled wood cladding and stucco designed to soften and weather over time, to the kitchen island composed of two pure geometric volumes distinguishing food preparation and gathering.
A home rooted in restraint, clarity and material honesty.

A whole-house renovation in the Palisades inspired by the aesthetics of Italy and Japan, where the homeowner acted as her own general contractor, sourced materials internationally, and hunted open-box appliances across the country.
Innately Italy stepped in to offer solutions that stretched the budget without visible compromise.
The result is a house that doesn’t read as a budget project because the constraints forced sharper decisions, not lesser ones.

Creating a desk station is never just about the desk ✨
Designed in collaboration with , this workspace transforms a challenging condition into a clean, functional moment. By wrapping an existing duct, building the cabinetry out to align with the adjacent bathroom wall and integrating a custom desk, the design reads intentional and cohesive.
Thoughtful planning turns constraints into seamless design moments 🤍

Five Kitchen Details That Make Everyday Life Effortless ✨
It’s the thoughtful details that transform a kitchen from beautiful to truly functional
- A drying rack built into the wall cabinet, out of sight when not in use.
- A corner unit designed to make every inch of a tight layout work.
- A dedicated sponge and utility drawer that keeps the sink area clean.
- A waste and recycling pull-out with a carbon filter to eliminate odor.
- Drawer-within-drawer storage for the small items that otherwise end up everywhere.
Good kitchen design is as much about what you don’t see as what you do.
What’s the one kitchen detail you didn’t think of until it was too late? Tell us in the comments

Small space, big impact ✨
In a small footprint, every decision counts. These are the details that make our urban projects feel open and uncluttered.
- A concealed wall bed that lets a single room shift from workspace to guest room
- Light, reflective surfaces placed strategically to extend the perception of space
- Storage fully integrated into the architecture to eliminate visual clutter
- A well-planned galley kitchen that does more with less, with reflective metallic surfaces that make the space feel bigger
Smart design changes how a space feels, functions, and flows.

Five mirrors, five different roles ✨
Not every mirror is simply decorative. In many cases, it defines how the room is read.
- The high-end painted mirror makes the space feel larger and the corridor appear longer
- A framed piece adds structure and visual weight
- A clean rectangle reinforces order and alignment
- Backlit forms create depth without adding clutter
- A circular mirror breaks rigid geometry and introduces movement
Each one changes the space in a different way.
If you’re rethinking your space, we can help shape it.

Alignment changes everything ✨
In this project, the vanity and shower enclosure were designed together, not as separate elements.
Profiles, finishes and glass were selected as a single system, so no line feels accidental and no material competes for attention.
The result is a space that reads as resolved, not assembled.

The peninsula as a planning tool ✨
In open kitchens, the goal isn’t to add more, it’s to organize the space with clarity.
The peninsula can be used to:
- Integrate storage and seating into a single element, eliminating the need for separate furniture
- Introduce variation in height and material to define functions without closing the space
- Define the kitchen within an open plan without interrupting flow
- Separate kitchen and living areas while maintaining visual continuity
Rooted in .cucine philosophy of modular, multifunctional living where kitchens become connected, dynamic spaces.
