This might not be your traditional kind of cookie, and no, Eric didn’t say sprinkles. He said spalting. 😂

Those unique lines and patterns in the wood are caused by fungi that naturally change the color of the wood as they grow. What might look like an imperfection is actually what gives this piece so much character.

And while no one will be dunking this cookie in their morning coffee, they might just be setting their coffee on it!

This wood cookie is on its way to becoming a one-of-a-kind coffee table, and we can’t wait to show you how it turns out.

This beauty was built as a gift for a lucky family. We CNC routed their name right into solid walnut, filled it with black epoxy, finished it to a glow, and topped it off with heavy-duty black handles. It normally runs $325, and we'd love to build another one with YOUR name on it.

Here's the fun part. Supporting the kids right here in Franklin County means a lot to us, so we're donating a custom serving tray to the CASA of Mideast Missouri Gala silent auction next month. CASA needs a sample on display so bidders can see what they're bidding on, and we'd love for that sample to be yours.

So here's the deal. You order your own custom tray, we let it shine on the auction table at the Gala, and then it comes home to you. For letting us borrow it, we'll take 15% off the price.

Keep it for your own table, or wrap it up as the best gift under the Christmas tree this year. Either way, you get a one-of-a-kind piece at a better price, and local kids get a little more support. We'd call that a win all around.

Those little trails and bits you’re seeing are left behind by insects boring through the wood. And while they might look like imperfections to some, they can also leave behind some pretty cool character!
