☀️ The first week of summer is here.

Summer has a way of reminding us to slow down.

It's morning coffee on the porch.
A good book by the window.
Evenings spent talking with family and friends.
The simple comfort of being at home.

Creating a space you love doesn't always require a complete makeover.

Sometimes it's a refreshed chair, a new pillow, or a favorite piece brought back to life.

At Waves, we believe the best homes aren't the most perfect—they're the ones where life happens.

Here's to a summer filled with comfort, connection, and loving the home you already have. 💙

Today we honor Juneteenth — a day that marks freedom, resilience, and the enduring strength of generations who continued moving forward despite tremendous challenges.

At Waves, we believe stories matter. History matters. Legacy matters.

Many of the pieces we restore have been passed down through families, carrying memories and traditions worth preserving.

As we celebrate Juneteenth, we reflect on the importance of honoring the past while continuing to build a brighter future for our community.

❤️ Happy Juneteenth.

Let's hear your story...

What's the oldest piece of furniture in your home?

Perhaps it's a dining table that has hosted decades of family dinners.
A rocking chair passed down through generations.
Or a favorite chair that's been part of your family's story for years.

Tell us below:
How old is it?
Where did it come from?
Why have you kept it?

We love hearing the stories behind the pieces people treasure most.

Because sometimes furniture is more than furniture.
It's part of the family.

06/16/2026

Some furniture is more than furniture.

It's where you start your morning coffee.
Where you read a favorite book.
Where the grandkids curl up during a visit.
Where memories quietly accumulate over the years.

Not every piece is worth saving.

But many older pieces were built with quality craftsmanship and sturdy frames designed to last for decades.

Before replacing a favorite chair or sofa, it may be worth asking:

✔ Is it well made?
✔ Does it fit your home?
✔ Does it hold special memories?

Sometimes all it needs is a fresh start.

💙 Some furniture is worth saving.

Design Tip

One of the biggest misconceptions in home décor is that everything has to match.

The most inviting homes often combine:
✔ Color
✔ Texture
✔ Pattern
✔ Personal style

Whether you love coastal blues, tropical prints, soft neutrals, or bold accents, your home should feel like you.

A few thoughtfully chosen pillows, accessories, or refreshed furniture pieces can completely change the feel of a room.

Because the best-designed homes aren't copied from a catalog—they tell your story.

Visit Waves inside Beaufort Marketplace to discover décor and design inspiration for your home.

🌎 Happy World Environment Day

One of the most sustainable choices you can make for your home is often the one you already own.

At Waves, we believe beautiful spaces don't always require buying new. Refreshing, recovering, and repurposing quality pieces helps reduce waste while preserving craftsmanship and character.

A favorite chair.
A well-loved sofa.
A piece with a story.

Sometimes all it needs is a fresh start.

💙 Update. Don't Replace.
