It’s been a while since we’ve introduced ourselves, so hello again! ❤️
We’re Cattlebend Woodworks, a husband-and-wife team with a love for beautiful hardwood furniture and a story that started with a dream, a little faith, and a whole lot of hard work.
Our journey began in 2015 with a simple flea market booth filled with handmade décor and one farmhouse table. Little did we know, that one table would change the direction of our lives.
The booth was a success—so much so that we could hardly keep up! His love for building and my love for decorating turned out to be the perfect combination. What started as a little side venture quickly grew into something bigger than we ever imagined.
In 2019, we took another leap of faith and opened our first brick-and-mortar store. By 2022, we had expanded, and somehow, by the grace of God, we made it through a pandemic, long days, late nights, and all the challenges that come with running a small business.
By 2023, we were exhausted. Between building furniture, painting, decorating, traveling to shows, and running a storefront, we realized somewhere along the way that we had become so busy doing everything that we were losing time for what we loved most.
So we made one of the biggest decisions of our journey. We moved everything home, slowly let go of the extras, and returned to the very thing that started it all—building beautiful, handcrafted hardwood furniture.
And what a blessing that decision has been.
Today, instead of welcoming customers into a storefront, we welcome them into our woodshop. It’s a place where sawdust fills the air, hard work still matters, and every piece of furniture has a story waiting to be told.
We don’t just want to build tables. We want to build the table where your family gathers for Sunday dinner, where birthdays are celebrated, holidays are shared, and memories are made. The kind of table that one day gets passed down to the next generation, carrying a lifetime of stories with it.
Looking back, we never could have imagined where that little flea market booth would take us. There have been plenty of struggles, countless lessons, and more blessings than we could ever count.
But through it all, one thing has never changed—our love for what we do.
To everyone who has supported us, purchased a piece of our furniture, shared our work, or simply followed along on this journey, thank you. You have helped turn a little dream into our livelihood, and we are forever grateful.
From our hands to your home, thank you for being part of the Cattlebend Woodworks story. ❤️
