Even the bathrooms in this house have their own personalities.

Some a little quieter. Some a little bolder. Warm wood is the family resemblance. đŸ€Ž

We love thinking through how each room will feel, and how they’ll all work together.

Yes, we get excited about software, too. 😂

We’re in Business of Home’s Fall Technology Issue, sharing the tech we use to help clients visualize their homes, keep projects organized, and stay on top of all the details along the way.

Thank you, Business of Home | BOH Home and Kaitlin Petersen , for including us!

A little South Florida design made its way to California. đŸ€Ž
These clients found us on social, trusted the process from across the country, and we flew out to put the finishing touches on it all.

Safe to say, we’ll travel for good design.

A lot happens between “we have an idea” and actually building it.

This custom office millwork looks pretty straightforward in a rendering, but the drawings tell a different story. Lighting, file storage, printer placement, outlets, shelving heights, finishes, hardware
all worked through before anything gets built.

Most of these details will probably never be noticed once the room is finished.

Which is kind of the point.

Good design should feel effortless. Getting it there usually isn’t. 😉

The before wasn’t a disaster. It just wasn’t them.

The kitchen in this Weston home didn’t function as well as our clients needed, and the finishes didn’t reflect their taste. We kept the layout and reworked the details as part of the full renovation. Now it feels warm, inviting, and much more like home.

Swipe to the end for the before. Sometimes a space doesn’t need to be terrible to be ready for a change.

A last-minute invitation to Quito to tour a furniture factory and celebrate 30 years of ADRIANA HOYOS Furnishings ?

Turns out, very much worth saying yes to.

We spent a few days seeing how everything is made, meeting the people behind it and getting a much closer look at the craftsmanship that goes into every piece.

What impressed me just as much as the product was the company itself. Family-run, incredibly passionate, and surrounded by a team that clearly shares that same pride and dedication.

Lots of design talk, lots of laughs, old friends, new friends
exactly the kind of trip that sends me home inspired.

Well, eventually home.

Same room. Completely different personalities.

Some clients want quiet. Some want color. Some want sculptural. Some want a little weird. đŸ«¶đŸœ

That’s one of my favorite parts of what we do — figuring out what feels like you, not repeating the same look from house to house.

A few dining rooms from over the years that couldn’t be more different, but all feel right for the people who live there.

Because the best room isn’t the one that looks like everyone else’s. It’s the one that feels most like you.

Save this if you’re still figuring out what your version of “home” looks like.

Moving through life so fast, I realized I never actually shared these here.

A little glimpse of all the goodness we brought into this home — and apparently only a glimpse, because I cannot find half the photos. So you’ll just have to trust me on the rest. 😂

Lately I’ve been making a conscious effort to slow down a little. To notice what’s right in front of me, enjoy the work we’ve already done, smell the flowers
all the things that are easy to miss when you’re already onto the next.

This home felt like a good reminder. So much beauty in the details, and sometimes you have to stop long enough to actually see it.
