after a long, hot summer, i've been LOVIN' getting out my layers and getting my sweata weatha on!!
and adding our bandanas and scarfs that each carry their own uplifting mantras is the cherry on top to not only look SO damn cute, but also being reminded that i am strong and brave and capable.

this is one of my favorite cards to pull from our pep talk trophy card deck. it's so important to remember that "YOUR PAST IS NOT YOUR FUTURE"
even as granular as what you did yesterday is not what you have to do today, not what you have to plan for tomorrow.
but certainly how you were raised, beliefs you held 20 years ago (or 2 months ago!) or the expectations that are laid on you by someone that is not YOU can and should be looked at, flipped over, questioned and reaffirmed.
