Hello friends. I know it's been a while. I took a break to focus on my Etsy store for the past few weeks but I am back to building and sharing everything with you! The project that I'll be sharing for the next couple of weeks is a beginner friendly renovation of a small half-bathroom. My plan is to remove the pedestal sink and create a floating vanity with a vessel sink, navy vertical shiplap and brass accents. I also decided to upgrade the look of the floors to complete the look. I am nowhere near ready in my DIY journey to tackle a full re-flooring so I decided to try a less intimidating alternative. I am partnering with to show you a super easy, affordable and renter friendly alternative to traditional hardwood flooring. Quick question: Who here can honestly say they do NOT have a junk drawer in their home? 🤷🏻‍♀️ I’ll admit I have more than one junk drawer 😂 so I decided to show a quick DIY Drawer Organization project that can be easily made with very few tools. I used my HART Tools Jigsaw and Drill/Driver to tackle this issue. ⁠⁠

I took advantage of my deep drawers and created two levels to help sort the drawer’s content. Here is the before and after pictures and I can confidently say that I will be replicating this project on other drawers in the house, might even try it on the sock drawer 🤔💡⁠⁠

I love trying new things and I was so excited to use the new Rotary Tool to add texture and volume to my laser cut pieces. One of my resolutions for this New Year was to be more prepared for any emergency that we may face. Since we live in Central Florida, the threat of hurricanes and even tornados is something we live with every year. I wanted to have an emergency kit ready to go in the event we needed it and I wanted to share it with you. I've attached a short checklist of the main items I wanted my kit to include. Happy Holidays!! I grew up having my big Christmas celebration on Christmas Eve. Thats was when we dressed up and had the big dinner with the whole family. We waited until midnight and then open presents sitting around the Christmas tree. My husband grew up waking super early on Christmas morning to open them up. Now we combined traditions and open one gift on Christmas Eve and then rest on Christmas morning. I love making new traditions and extending the Christmas magic as much as possible.
