These true, imperfect mid-century bedside tables have come a long way and I’m happy to finally share them!

Each table was was fully stripped, sanded, filled, painted, lined, and lastly, sealed. The drawers and full interiors have been refreshed with a lemony salve, the wood was extremely dry so this helps with bringing the wood back to health.

They offer matching top surfaces, a perfect little shelf/nook which showcases a pop of modern wallpaper; perfect to place books, jewelry, glasses, etc. It has a small, lined drawer and a large door for any larger items to store bigger belongings. Lots of storage space for not being oversized!

🚨Note: these were VERY well loved before I worked on them; they are in true refinished condition and my price reflects this.

One of my best gals gifted me this vintage table from her late grandmothers furnishings! She told me to do whatever I wanted with it, so I figured I would have my hand at some hand painted folk furniture design.

The beauty of these types of details? They are unique and are to not be perfect. I had SO much fun bringing some vibrant character to this piece and it won’t be the last of this style from me.

This four drawer, FULL of character dresser (or entryway console, TV stand, bathroom vanity, etc.) was restored to its natural beauty.

It had a dark mahogany/cherry finish when I purchased it and didn’t know what to expect when stripping it back. I must say that its grain is ✨stunning✨. It needed the proper TLC to make it really stand out.

Stripped, sanded, washed, whitewashed, sealed and staged - this was my process for this piece using some of my favorite brands.

These solid Gibbard bedside tables complete the bedroom set I’ve been chipping away at for my client, Sandy. All pieces belonged to her late mother. She didn’t know whether to sell, keep or refinish them. Needless to say, refinishing is the option she chose and she’s so happy that she did. 💖

All items will be in a guest bedroom offering guests ample storage space, a sense of calmness due to the color palette and coziness. I love the shape of the legs, the solid color choice and the new hardware - perfect for any season, and easy to add different bedding, decor colors to as well.

Being trusted with sentimental items (big or small) gives me a lot of reassurance and motivation to continue to take on commissioned work, as well as refinishing in general. It is the biggest compliment I can receive as a refinisher!
