Paul started out in the construction industry building custom homes from the ground up, for independent contractors in Santa Barbara, in the late 1970′s. From 1980 to the present, he has been serving clients in the Los Angeles area, initially applying his carpentry skills and later his management and logistical skills, to everything from foundations to roofing. True North Designs was originally founded in 1988 when Paul went to UCLA to obtain his bachelor’s degree in Psychology. Since then the company has built its reputation on the skills and dependability of its carpenters and subcontractors, and Paul’s tireless dedication to customer service.
