e. UWSP has raised money using the not-for-profit crowd-funding site at Chuffed. Council has also agreed to provide some funding. WHAT SORT OF PROJECTS DO WE GIVE GRANTS TO? UWSP will consider all sorts of projects for funding to help achieve our vision for Hindley West. As a guide, ideas that have been floated already are:
busking residencies on the street each week * community gardens * creating murals * handing out love letters to people on the street * theatre students rehearsals outside cafes * pop up lounge rooms * adding greenery and plants to street furniture and fixtures
UWSP will however consider any application that adds life, fun and vibrancy to the Upper West Side. Applicants are encouraged to use their imagination!
