We have our custom made cupcake stands done for a client which she used at a wedding, as well as our custom wood block. These were designed and used to hold glass these glass signs.
Another addition to the same wedding was this custom made envelope box, which you can see in the 3rd slide. Extremely happy with the outcome and so happy you chose us to help cater for your special day. Big thanks to and ✨

Today I will be showing you a step by step process in how we strip paint off of a piece of wood 🪵

Firstly, identify how much paint you will need to remove, this will help you figure out how much paint stripper you will need.
Once you’ve acquired your paint stripper, I tend to use Duram as it works the best for me, you can make sure your workpiece is free of dust and any other debris.

Secondly, you’re going to want to apply a nice generous layer of paint stripper directly onto your wood. If you have quite a thick layer of paint to take off I would suggest using a decent amount of paint stripper, as you can see in the second slide. Once applied leave for a few minutes.

After a few minutes you will start to notice that the paint will start bubbling. Once all of paint has bubbled or pulled away you can then start to scrape off the paint with a scraper or wire brush to get all of that paint off. A second coat may be needed in those real problem areas.
After you have finished scraping your piece, taking a cloth/brush with warm water and soap, & giving your piece a wipe down will help ensure all that excess paint stripper is removed.

Please ensure you wear the proper safety equipment when using this product 🥽

Custom made cupcake stands made from pine and treated with a polyurethane sealer. The finish is extremely smooth and the seal will help prevent any cracks or scratches that could become visible in the future. Our client was extremely happy with the outcome✨

Another order complete for a happy customer. This is a custom order that we did for our client who wanted an envelope box for her wedding. She opted for a light color wood, which we used pine, and a clear varnish overlay.
We also did these custom wooden blocks that will hold sheets of A4 glass.
Extremely happy with the outcome!✅

A few months back a client of mine gave me a couple of old door frames that were in pretty bad shape. We cleaned it up and have repurposed it into a beautiful mantle piece.
We treated it with ProNature mid brown to give it that smooth matte finish. Extremely happy with the outcome !

Some of the many products we use here in the workshop…

The Alcolin brand is excellent for any type wood filler, which comes in a variety of different options, making it easy to match to your wood. It is water based which definitely helps with the clean up process. We also use the Alcolin Ultra wood glue for majority of our products that require glue, it is extremely strong and durable. A highly recommended product!

Another product we use almost daily would be the ProNature brand. They produce eco-friendly wood stains and sealers, that leave a beautiful finish to your wood. Great for your wood & even better for the environment!
