Free Recycling Service (Reg.2015/189749/07) is a newly established environmentally friendly business who provides a free recycling service to residential complexes, restaurants, sports clubs and households in exchange for the collection of their plastic, glass and tin waste. This BBB-EE accredited small business will start operating on 1 September 2015 and is owned by Trevor Damons. Initially, the
business will operate in the southern suburbs of Cape Town but the intention is to expand our services to other areas in Cape Town. Through the collection of plastic, glass and tin waste, we are contributing to the protection of the environment in that the waste we collect are used for recycling. Unlike the municipal refuse collection service which is confined to a certain day(s) of the week, we will collect your plastic, glass and tin waste on any day, Mondays to Saturdays. Benefit for clients using our service:
Clients will benefit from our free recycling service in that we provide our own wheelie bins and/or containers to store our glass, plastic and tin waste. Our bins and containers are clearly marked and differently coloured to distinguish them from our clients' own bins. An added advantage for clients using our service is that it also reduces the people who scavenge daily in refuse bins looking for glass, plastic, tin and other waste. Some of the scavengers also scour areas with criminal intent and whilst it will be difficult to eliminate them completely, by not putting out your glass, plastic and tin waste (which is what they are after for) it should make it less attractive for them to scavenge as our clients’ refuse bins will now be much emptier.
