A mobile reading destination that encourages literacy and shares a love of books We love books and believe everyone should have access to them.
Our main goal is to share this with communities. We do so by setting up reading destinations where people can sit and read or stop by to exchange a book, and children can enjoy story time.

After a much-needed holiday, we’re back - and we hope you’re ready to join us tomorrow at Open Streets Cape Town in Bree Street! Look out for us between Strand and Shortmarket streets, near Dapper Coffee Co., from 9-12. We have a great range of books for both the littlies and the grownups - all FOR FREE! So there’s really no excuse not to read this year 😉

Our second novel in our pop-up book club series is The Seven Sisters by Lucinda Riley. The historical romance tells the story of the first of six adopted sisters, Maia. (The seventh is still a mystery figure.) Maia travels to Rio de Janeiro after her adopted father gives her a clue to her past.
