Another new customer contacted me after seeing all my social media posts and requested me to make covers for all their outdoor furniture.

The sand colour Ripstop was utilised for the covers to complement the floor tiles and wall paint colour. All the seams are double stitched using heavy duty Serafil UV treated thread to ensure the longevity of the stitching. The covers were made to reach the floor in order to keep the whole set of 2 x 2 seater couches, 2 x 1 seater chairs plus the coffee table and 2 side tables fully protected from both the harsh sun and heavy rains we experience plus to keep the dust out as well.

The Ripstop is an acrylic-treated polyester fabric which is waterproof, UV resistant and fungal resistant which makes it a great choice for a hard wearing and long lasting material for outdoor covers and is available in various colours as well.

My umbrella repair customer said they couldn’t find the right size mesh sun shade for the area leading out onto the pool.

I said no problem, took measurements, provided the quote which was accepted and within a week it was installed. It was made with UV treated cream coloured shade cloth, the edges are reinforced with 30mm webbing which have been triple stitched and the corners are covered with an additional PVC layer and stainless steel eyelets. The diagonal corners of the sun shade are mounted directly to the wall and the opposite two are mounted via turnbuckles to take up any slack tension in the mesh and webbing.

My customer sent me the following message “I’m happy thank you very much. I will recommend you and also definitely use you again as needed. Have a good weekend.”

Another new customer contacted me to ask if I could make a replacement cushion for their hanging chair as the old one had ingrained mould in the fabric which wouldn’t come out.

Another trailer cover option if you only want to protect the top half of your trailer.

This return customer asked for a very strong and thick trailer cover so this one is made from heavy duty ripstop. There are 6 heavy duty stainless steel hooks attached to 7mm stretch cord to firmly hold the cover in place and there are 4 velcro closed openings to allow for the bike rack to be mounted on the trailer while the trailer cover is on.

When one of my regular company customers contacted me and asked if I can help with a very urgent order of 4 yellow machine screens I say no problem and then got them made and delivered within 24 hours.

These screens were made from PVC, finished dimensions of 2000mm x 1200mm, with a 50mm overlapped border and 24 Velcro fastening points to mount them onto fabricated steel frames.

I received a call from a new customer who asked if I could possibly repair her outdoor umbrella.

My quote was accepted so I replaced the whole top section and had it back to her within a day.

Another new addition are these lead / utility pouches.

The coloured PVC pouches are especially nice for saltwater fishing where you take various weight sinkers with you and can use different colours for the different weights.

Another custom camping table cover order.

This table cover is made with PU coated ripstop, has rounded corners to keep it fitting snuggly on the table and has three segment padded pouches on three sides to house all the customer’s power banks, charging cables, wallet, keys etc. The rear edge of the cover has a molle strip so the customer can attach his utility pouch to it as well.

Another bag repair as it had got damaged at the airport. The one inner pocket and the bottom had gotten torn and needed repair and/or replacement.

This was another long labour intensive process as the entire top of the bag had to be unpicked in order to remove the inner pouch capsule to get access to adding an additional layer to strengthen and repair the bottom of the one inner pocket. Thereafter the whole bottom panel and beading had to be unpicked in order to replace the torn panel with a new double ripstop layer with EVA in between. Once the original beading was attached onto the panel it was stitched back onto the base and then the inner pouch capsule was stitched back on top along with the top beading to finish the bag off.
