Light does something different to a channelled surface.

The Sandra armchair is built from soft, rounded ribs that catch and hold shadow as the day moves, the kind of detail you only notice once you've lived with a piece for a while.

It's a deceptively simple shape. Deep seat, low arms, no hard edges anywhere, built for the way people actually sit, not for how a chair is supposed to look.

Paired here with a sculptural side table, but it holds its own in almost any room.

In our Johannesburg showroom now.

This isn't a showroom. It's a real home.

Two Togo sectionals facing each other across a room built for conversation, original artwork, an open door to the garden, orchids catching the afternoon light.

This is what the Togo looks like when it's not on display. When someone has lived with it, built a room around it, and trusted it to hold its own among the things they love most.

Fifty years after it was designed, it still does exactly that.

In our Johannesburg showroom now.

Designed for a French President. Now available to the rest of us.

The Pumpkin armchair was created by Pierre Paulin in 1971 for the private apartments of President Georges Pompidou at the Élysée Palace. For over fifty years it existed solely in that context, a commissioned piece for a head of state, unavailable to anyone else.

Ligne Roset has changed that.

Now in large-scale production for the first time, the Pumpkin brings Paulin’s revolutionary approach to form into the homes of people who understand exactly what that means. Sculptural. Enveloping. Entirely unlike anything else in a room.

The kind of chair that doesn’t furnish a room, it defines one.

In our Johannesburg showroom now.

Sunday was a WIN!

For the first time, Ligne Roset South Africa brought its collection into one of South Africa's most exclusive automotive environments and it felt exactly as natural as we knew it would.

The Togo. The Pumpkin. The Prado. Placed quietly alongside Aston Martin, McLaren and other super car giants! In a room where understated elegance sets the tone for everything.

The guests were comfortable. The setting was extraordinary. And the two together felt like exactly the right fit.

Thank you to the team at Daytona for welcoming Ligne Roset South Africa with such generosity. This was a landmark moment for the brand and the beginning of something we intend to build on.

Watch this space.

On Sunday, we're transforming this exquisite showroom!

The Togo in two colourways. The Pumpkin. The Prado.

Three of the most extraordinary pieces in our collection, each with a story worth knowing, side by side with Aston Martin, McLaren.

We genuinely cannot wait for Sunday.

Ferrari. Aston Martin. Rolls Royce. McLaren.

People who appreciate this level of craft in a car tend to bring that same appreciation home.

So this Sunday, for the first time we're putting both in the same room.

Ligne Roset South Africa and Daytona have come together for an exclusive joint activation at their F1 Day event at Melrose Arch. 150 private guests. Closed doors. The most premium automotive showroom in South Africa

It's a first for us. A furniture activation inside a supercar dealership. And honestly, it feels like the most natural pairing we've ever made.

More this week.

Two table lamps. Two design eras. Both doing something genuinely beautiful with light.

LEFT: The Tangent.
Inspired by the Pierre Cardin era of the 1960s ,when design and fashion were having a moment together. Repoussé aluminium shade that reflects light upward then back down, creating a warm, ambient glow rather than a direct beam. The kind of light that makes a room feel considered at 9pm.

RIGHT: The Asola.
Perforated white lacquered steel, a shape that references the iconic mushroom lamps of the late 1960s and 70s. Light passes through the perforations in the shade, creating a soft, diffused quality that fills the space without directing it.

Both available at Ligne Roset South Africa

Because the right lamp isn't the last decision. It's one of the first.

Some furniture looks good.
Some furniture feels good.
The rarest pieces do both and keep doing it for decades.

The Kashima just won Best Reissue at the IDEAT MagazineIDEAT Design Awards 2026 in Milan. A 1970s design, reissued in 2023, recognised by the global design community in 2026.

We're not surprised. This piece has earned every conversation it's started in our showroom since the day it arrived. There's something about it that's difficult to walk past without stopping. Even harder to get up from once you've sat down.

Come and see what we mean.

The design world just made it official.

The Kashima armchair by Michel Ducaroy has been awarded Best Reissue at the IDEAT Design Awards 2026 presented in Milan at Salone del Mobile.Milano, one of the most significant design events in the world.

Designed in the 1970s. Reissued by Ligne Roset in 2023 because some things are simply too good to retire. Now recognised on the global stage for exactly that reason.

This piece has been one of the most talked-about in our Johannesburg showroom since the day it arrived. People who know design recognise it immediately. People who don't ,sit in it and understand within thirty seconds.

Come and experience it for yourself.
