Some artworks shout for attention. The self made artwork doesn’t need to.

The muted palette keeps things calm, but the portrait still holds your eye. Direct, steady and just assertive enough to make you look twice.

We like that kind of presence on a wall.

Self made artwork , alongside more new smaller artworks, now at urban nest.

Same pieces. Completely different setting.

That was one of our favourite things about Desert Domesticity. Taking pieces we know so well from the showroom and seeing what happens when they’re moved somewhere softer, warmer and a little less expected.

The lighting feels different. The artwork reads differently. Even the tableware suddenly has a whole new mood around it.

We have a weakness for lamps that behave like objects before they behave like lighting.

The glassfiber is what makes these interesting. Slightly uneven, softly translucent and much less polished than a typical lamp finish. In daylight you notice the shape and texture. Once switched on, the material starts doing something completely different.

Pink, cream or petrol blue, none of them really disappear into the room. That’s probably why we like them.

Find the glassfiber table lamps at urban nest, Al Quoz and online.💡

Same lamp, but we’d argue the finish changes it more than the colour does.

Opal almost disappears into the light once it’s switched on. Opaque does the opposite. You keep seeing the shape, the colour and that very Panthella silhouette.
Neither is the “safer” choice. It just depends whether you want the lamp to soften the room or hold its ground in it.

We brought in both for exactly that reason.
Come see them switched on at urban nest, Al Quoz. 💡

Some pieces don’t need styling around them. They start deciding what the rest of the room should do.

The Forma cupboard in olive is one of those. Strong shape, unusual colour and enough personality to hold its own.

Then there’s Dent in chrome, sitting above it like a piece of wall jewellery that changes depending on where you’re standing.

Not a quiet corner, but we weren’t really aiming for one.

We keep coming back to caramel and moss because neither one behaves like a neutral, but together they almost do.

Caramel gives the room weight. Moss takes some of that warmth somewhere less obvious.
You can put them on velvet, glass, ceramics or painted furniture and they still speak the same language without looking coordinated.

That’s usually the sweet spot.

Send this to someone who thinks brown and green only belong outside. 🍂

Monday has enough going on. Your mug should just work. ☕

From the desk to your bag and wherever the day goes next, the Dopper travel mug is made for the everyday routine. Morning coffee, afternoon refill, then back in the bag for tomorrow.

Reusable, easy to take with you and one less disposable cup in the workday.

✨New✨ at urban nest. Find it in our showroom and online.

Some things are simply too nice to put behind a solid door👀

The acrylic shelf is back in stock, and still one of those pieces that works almost anywhere. The clear acrylic keeps it visually light, while the olive shelves bring in just enough colour to make it feel a little less expected.

Use it for books, ceramics, objects or anything you actually want to see. Modular, freestanding and easy to style around whatever is already happening in the room.

Back in stock at urban nest.

Some mirrors are meant to disappear into the room. This one really isn’t.

The Wooden Ripple Mirror has a carved, wavy frame that gives the wall its own shape before you even notice the reflection. We like it best mixed with pieces that don’t try too hard to match it.

A little vintage, a little sculptural and definitely not background furniture. 🤎

Matching tableware is overrated.
We like the cupboards where every piece has a slightly different shape, glaze or colour and somehow it all works together anyway.

A few HKLIVING favourites for coffee, snacks, casual lunches and the kind of weekend hosting that wasn’t really planned. ☕

Available at urban nest.
