Bored of white walls in a rental property? I am missing my black feature walls that I always used to have in Dubai, and I decided to use some Designers Guild influence and paint this hall wall with a black triangular shape to achieve a monochrome look I had in my last house.

What do you think?!

Now I've had the confidence to go black again, I'm going to attack a few more walls with that black brush! ⚫️

Completed my first ever mood board for my interior design course. After working in the furniture industry for 20 years and owning my own shop it’s more than time to get my Diploma in Interior Design !

Site visit yesterday to see some wood :) great little trip and found a rather large dinosaur 🦖 Found wood species from all over the world here including the most interesting (and most expensive) logs which have been pulled up from the Panama Canal that have been laying under water for 60 years. These trunks have absorbed many minerals from the canal bed and now have a new DNA structure leaving dark mineral rings on these slabs of wood used for live edge wood tables, benches, stools etc. Pictures to follow. India let me do plait her hair for like the second time in her whole life ! (plenty of bribes were offered) and after learning how to do this tidy French plait by my Thai masseuse on holiday, I managed to also keep India’s hair up for 4 days ! Totally chuffed 🥰
