Bespoke and ready-made furniture designs for indoor and outdoor settings. Made in UAE

05/11/2026

Now on view at Downtown Design 2026! 👉Swipe to see the full chair!

The bespoke terrazzo chair we recently shared in production is now installed and exhibited as part of the UAE Designer Exhibition — “Inherited Futures” at Downtown Design, Dubai Design District (d3).

Developed in collaboration with a designer, the piece brings together contemporary terrazzo craftsmanship and traditional-inspired textile details — translating a creative concept into a fully realised furniture piece.

For Bauchem, this collaboration is a reflection of what we value most: working closely with designers to turn distinctive ideas into physical form through material knowledge, precision, and local manufacturing.

If you’re visiting Downtown Design this week, you can find the chair at the **UAE Designer Exhibition booth**.

Gather around something made to last.

Our bespoke firepits combine sculptural form with everyday functionality, bringing warmth, atmosphere, and a natural focal point to outdoor spaces.

Available in custom terrazzo and concrete finishes, each piece can be tailored in size, shape, colour, and material to complement its surroundings.

By day, a statement piece. By night, the heart of the space.

Good design should outlast trends.

For us, longevity is about more than technical durability. It is about creating pieces that continue to perform, feel relevant, and maintain their character over time.

Concrete and terrazzo naturally support this approach — strong, versatile materials designed for real use and long-term value.

Because good design is not only about how something looks today. It is about how well it remains.

Built for daily use. Designed for lasting relevance.

Terrazzo, tailored to the project.
From bar counters and hospitality surfaces to custom samples developed for specification, terrazzo offers an extraordinary range of possibilities in colour, aggregate, scale, and finish.

At Bauchem Creations, each mix can be developed around the design intent — from lighter, more subtle compositions to bold high-contrast surfaces with a stronger graphic presence.

The result is a material that can adapt to the space while keeping its own character, whether used across a large countertop or explored first through a custom sample.
One material. Endless combinations. Made for the project.

Terrazzo has moved far beyond the floor.

Today, it can become furniture, counters, vanities, firepits, outdoor kitchens, wall features, and fully bespoke architectural elements.

Its versatility lies in the ability to shape colour, aggregates, scale, texture, and finish around the needs of each project.

One material. Endless applications.

Every finished piece begins as an idea.

A sketch, render, or material sample gradually takes shape through engineering, mould development, casting, finishing, transport, and installation.

The final result is never just about production — it is the outcome of design vision, technical problem-solving, and craftsmanship working together.

From concept to completion.

This bespoke circular element was created to frame the tree while becoming part of the landscape itself.

Its curved form required precision in production and installation, while the terrazzo finish adds texture, durability, and a refined material presence to the outdoor setting.

A functional architectural detail, developed specifically for the space.

Made to integrate. Built to last.
