I’m thrilled with my new bookends, a custom order from . Long story; my father, in his infinite wisdom, had my grandparents’ ashes disinterred several years ago. They sat on a shelf gathering dust, along with the little plaques that had been chipped out of the modest concrete base. I’m glad to have returned some dignity to the plaques and to my grandparents’ memory. In the interests of doing no (further) harm, the plaques have not been re-attached, but sit lightly in slots on the American White Oak. Thank you Ollie!

Say G’day to Sammy everyone! Sammy is the newest member of our team here and is very passionate about everything woodworking, especially wood turning. Although Sammy comes from a background of learning difficulties this does not impact his abilities in the work he creates. Every project we do now onwards will have his handy work involved and we are so very happy to have him apart of this business and very proud to be able to work with such a great person! How nice is his first chopping board?

Recently I was given the opportunity to volunteer at The Collingwood Childrens Farm, I’m there once a week working alongside the incredible staff and getting to work with some school groups that come from various backgrounds.
It’s one of the best experiences I’ve ever had.
This is the latest project we are working on building a long retaining wall.
Can’t wait to see the end result! Get down there and support this great place.

This has got to be one of my favorite boards that I’ve made 🧡We believe the wood was from a nectarine tree. Stunning grain!!!

This beaut little essential oils box went out last week, made from recycled Oregon. The inserts were charred to give a contrast look.

Today is not a day for celebration, but a day to acknowledge our history and remember that for indigenous Australians, it is a day of sadness and dispossession.
For this reason, we will be donating the money from 100% of our kitchenware sales to Red Dust until next Saturday 2nd February. Red Dust does amazing work in the Northern Territory to deliver health programs and community development projects in partnership with remote aboriginal communities. These programs create awareness about preventable diseases, the importance of physical activity and healthy eating and interventions for drug and alcohol misuse to improve the future for young aboriginal people and their families.
