Three days at PRECI here in Adelaide and my head and heart are full!

About 10 years ago, I sat in a room and watched Professor Robin McWilliam speak for the first time. I didn't know it yet, but that moment planted the seed for everything Day by Day would become: routines-based, family-centred, genuinely in step with the lives of the children and families we work with.

To see him again this week, which might be the last time before his upcoming retirement, felt like coming full circle. Thank you, Professor Robin, for the work, the wisdom, and the legacy you're leaving behind in early intervention. You shaped how so many of us practice and you certainly shaped

We're so excited to welcome another addition to the Day by Day Team! Hello Chris! 🥳🥳

Chris is an Occupational Therapist who graduated from the University of Adelaide, bringing a strengths-based, family-centred approach to supporting children and families.

Using play-based and neuro-affirming methods, he works with kids to build skills in emotional regulation, everyday functioning, and sensory processing, always guided by their interests and individual needs.

He's also fluent in English and Vietnamese, and is passionate about creating an inclusive, culturally responsive space for every family.

Outside the clinic, Chris loves cooking, the gym, running, and spending time with the people he loves 🏃 🧑‍🍳

Meet Cherie! 👋

Cherie is a Speech Pathologist with a passion for early intervention.

With experience across paediatric private practice and community settings, Cherie brings a neurodiversity-affirming, play-based approach that puts connection and family at the centre of everything she does.

She has a special interest in AAC and mealtime/feeding support, and a meaningful placement in the Northern Territory has shaped her deep appreciation for diverse communities and ways of communicating.

When she's not in the clinic, you'll find her camping, travelling, or making memories with family and friends. 🏕️🌏
