Little Puss says it all - tomorrow is our last ever trading day. After 49 years the doors will close at 5.30pm - FOREVER. Still have some really good bargains here so pop in - even if it is just to say goodbye.

Well here it is - the last ever advertisment for Avant Garde Furnishings in the Advertiser. This will be in tomorrows paper. Can't believe there is only 3 days left!! Hurry in if you want a bargain because when the doors close at 5.30pm on Friday they will not re-open ever again for Avant Garde Furnishings. All good things come to an end and this is our end.

FINAL DAYS ARE HERE

How sad is this - it is really becoming quite scary just how close the end is now. This is the advertisement in The Advertiser today. Our last ever weekend trading will be this weekend. Both Saturday and Sunday we will be open 10 am until 4.00 pm. There is still a reasonable amount of lounge suites left to sell - and they are all at hugely reduced prices. Also still have a couple of 7pce dining suites left and quite a few sets of 4 and 6 chairs. Funny that we sell more tables on their own than chairs? Only about 10 cushions left, 4 rugs, and maybe 10 pictures. Time really is running out fast now so come on in if you want to grab a bargain before the doors close forever!!!

After 49 years the time has come for us to close our doors forever. The big boss has spoken and set the date for our last ever trading weekend. It really is a bit sad for me but life will go on. So if you have been hanging out for the last days to buy - the last days are right now. I would have to say today has been flat chat selling so don't leave it too long to come in. I am hearing every day now people coming in saying "where is........ I was going to buy it " And I have to say "too late - it was sold last week" Guaranteed if you think it is a great bargain there is another one or two people who are also thinking the same way.

How sad does this little gathering of pictures look?
All of these pictures have now been reduced to just $22!! Some of these are oil paintings which were over $150 and now just $22. This really shows the end is very close now. There still are a couple of framed glass pictures on the walls and the cheapest of these is just $65 down from $275. So if you have been looking at any of our pictures you best hurry in because we have less than 20 left to sell. I remember at the begining of the year we had around 150 pictures for sale - how the times have changed. Not long to go now.
