Carlon Heavy Diesel is seeking an experienced diesel mechanic to carry out maintenance and repairs on a wide variety of equipment such as earthmoving equipment, trucks/trailers & Toyota 4x4’s based in Katherine, NT.
The majority of our work is field service but we also have workshop facilities where we carry out planned jobs.
Ideally we are looking for someone local to Katherine, or DIDO from Darwin on a Monday to Friday, or 4/3 (days) roster, with donga accommodation available, or 2/1 FIFO from Cairns for the right person.
No two days are the same, one day in the workshop, the next at a quarry, and out in the bush the day after that. Lots of Variety.
We need someone who is thorough, has their own tools, is reliable and can work autonomously, out in the field on their own, aswell as in a team. We are a small family owned business that work hard, but also like to have fun and have a b**r at the end of the day. Plenty of hours available for those interested.
