-Full Restoration on this mammoth mid century Teak desk from Denmark. Bit of structural work to fix the sagging top. Stripped, sanded, stained and polished. Little bit of playing around and feathering out to remove the square “writing pad” mark but think it’s disguised ok 👍 . All done by hand, no spraying. Very satisfying indeed 🪶

- Restored Oak Georgian High Dresser. The back boards of this piece all needed to be replaced. In the most traditional way possible. All hand planed with a roughing plane, then cabinet scraped. Mixes of water stain and spirit stain used, French polished by hand. The top segment wasn’t attached to the bottom half anymore. So new tenons also needed to be replaced on both sides of the piece. This was a job done some time ago for the great folk O A K L A N E & Co. . I do enjoy going back to my roots at times working with antiques and solid timber joinery…

Have a seat at this newly restored Danish Mid-Century dining set. Fully hand restored, every chair stripped and sanded, and the same with the dining table. Focus and attention to every detail. Traditionally finished in shellac. Newly upholstered seats on the dining chairs done in a tanned leather from Leather Italia & ELT crafted by Camm Upholstery . Always doing a top notch job.
What more can I say, the before photos say the rest.

- After a long day of restoring it’s time for a tipple on this mid 1800’s Cedar flip top Centre Table. With cross banded edges and hand carved scroll feet and not to mention all hand made brass fittings. Repaired and restored. Tables like these give me goosebumps…just gotta be careful not to spill your drink 🍸 😜 (and yes we do drink from jars in the workshop 😅)

- This client had previously purchased four genuine Miller chairs. She wanted to add an extra two in order to have a set of six. So she purchased two extra reproductions as close to the models as she could find. It was then up to me to colour match a completely different timber to match the original colour of the Millers. I think we got it pretty darn close. Newly upholstered too. They don’t call me the colour master for nothing 😜
