Restoration Complete | Honouring the Past, Renewing for the Future

Originally brought to Australia from Zimbabwe these treasured chair looms have a wonderful story to tell.

The restoration involved bringing the wooden frames back to life, replacing the foam and completing a full reupholstery.
A thoughtful restoration that preserves their history while giving these beautiful pieces a new chapter. 🤍
At Elements of Design Furnishings, we believe quality craftsmanship is about restoring, preserving and extending the life of furniture worth keeping.

Proudly restoring furniture in the Northern Rivers.

Monday Morning Production
We've been a little quiet on social media lately—but not in the workroom!
Theatre seating restoration is in full swing. It's been a journey of channel quilting, stripping, reforming, fitting, tweaking... and yes, sometimes stripping it all off and starting again.
That's the reality of quality upholstery. We don't settle for "good enough." Every seat is refined until we're happy with the result.
Behind every finished project are countless hours of craftsmanship, patience, and problem-solving. We can't wait to show you the transformation as this commercial project comes together.
