Nomad Furnishings was opened in Jolimont in April 1983. Shanghai Shed opened in Claremont in April 1981 by my father Peter Boykett.
Pete recently passed away, he went peacefully in his own way on his own terms, he had a great life.
In memory of dad I am bringing Shanghai Shed back to the public after a few years of being dormant.
You may remember “The Shed” in Leura Avenue in Claremont, it was a beautiful place you could find just about anything for any occasion. Many just came in to say Gday and a drink at the end of a long day.
