Late yesterday I harvested armfuls of blooms and today they’re at The Merchant Benalla - Breakfast + Lunch Cafe 💚🌿 from my garden to yours. 💚🌿 Make sure to smell them - the citrus pelargonium and philadelphus won’t last weeks in the vase but fills a corner with the beautiful scent of Spring.

It was ‘Random act of kindness’ morning this morning at The Merchant Benalla - Breakfast + Lunch Cafe My little Miss B chose a number of ladies to gift flowers too, bringing joy to many. Glasshouse build update… It’s all coming together. Nice work on the old reds from Albury brickworks, Scotty! All the glass panels and the bricks sourced from marketplace over the last three years. The provenance of things meaningful to me. The doors and additional walls will go in over the coming fortnight. Designed by Blossom&Pollen Great work so far tgbbuilding_solutions and Mclaren Masonry and property maintenance 💚🌿

Cultivating joy through flowers…
This morning amidst the kids getting ready and off to school, I dashed outside and picked these stunners… the second of my peonies to bloom… and couldn’t resist a seasonal bouquet befitting the beauty of the opening peony…

First light and a bucket of blooms… fills my cup… glasshouse build in progress…

I feel the peonies are early this year… but this one needed to come inside…

…and a little if you’d like 2 minutes of flower arranging… I start with the foliage for structure… then add the focal and ‘filler’ flowers…

The end result… It smells amazing. Philadelphus (mock orange) is one of my favourites and the hard prune 18 months ago is reaping rewards now… the stock with its spicy scent… and the snapdragons… the fuchsia pink being taller than my daughter 💕💚 a special bouquet for my family this week. Wishing you a good week ahead. 💚🌿

Glasshouse build day 3 (see earlier post re my dream glasshouse!). Framing well underway to ensure all our repurposed windows and doors are secure. What a space and what a view! Thankfully designing in situ is a strength of Scotty and Tom! Can’t wait to be in! I think the birds as a sound drop is magical 💚🌿 tgbbuilding_solutions Mclaren Masonry and property maintenance
