Honey Pot Quilting

A beautiful display of quilts at the bi-annual exhibition of Waverley Patchworkers. My dear friend Jennifer Ray has three quilts hanging. Two of which I quilted.

A few quilts have left the workroom this past month, along with THREE wedding dress alterations!!!! I’ve been busy! 🐝🐝
Some simple edge to edge and light custom. Many thanks ladies.

A customer has collected this quilt this morning. An oldie but a goody, Window to our garden - designed by Lynn Hyland of Li’l Blokes, Bendigo.
I believe the original quilting was by Tina Whitaker. 20 years ago I dreamt of being half as good as her!! The customer requested I duplicate the pattern as pictured. I’m very happy with the result and so was she.

A lovely wander around the local Bendigo Quilters show this morning. The members have been very busy over the last couple of years. Great show folks. ❤️🐣
The blueish appliqué quilt I machine quilted for Anthea Bradley. I didn’t want it to leave my house!!!

UPDATE: Shirley was discharged Thursday afternoon. She is very grateful to the Bendigo Health GEM program where a nurse is calling in daily to ensure she is coping ok.
I’ve been cooking meals to ensure save her worrying about food for a few days. Looking much better.

Apologies for delay to my customers. My mother had been in hospital for the past week with various issues.
I am on the machine for minimal time as my concentration is distracted.
I am tackling those with deadlines first so your quilt may be delayed a bit longer.

I actually finished planned Christmas quilts!!!
Mad Collingwood supporters, my SIL & niece were thrilled with their quilts. Last stitch went in at 12:30am on Christmas Eve 😝🤣🤣

A few customer quilts, from the extreme simplicity to the intricacy of original design with needle turn appliqué. Custom quilting is my specialty but also available for edge to edge patterns.
I’ve been travelling catching up with friends, post COVID but always nice to come home to the quilt room. 🥰

A fabulous hand pieced hexagon quilt, made by Angela. A smaller scale edge to edge pattern to ensure the quilt is secure.

Both quilts are custom quilted with freehand designs on the Gammill Classic.
It toook a while for the memory cells to switch back into gear. It seems an eternity!
Now for a few easy edge to edge quilts for the next couple of weeks.
