🚐✨ TOMORROW IS MARKET DAY! ✨🚐

It’s time to pack up the van for tomorrow’s Bowral Public School Markets! 🤍

Now, packing our van is definitely a combination of a giant jigsaw puzzle and the TARDIS… 😂 I’m always amazed at just how much we actually manage to squeeze in!
There’s plenty of shuffling, rearranging and wondering whether that one last piece is going to fit, but somehow, we usually make it work! 🤣

We’ve got some gorgeous furniture and unique treasures packed and ready to go, and we’d absolutely LOVE to see you there! 🥰

🌿 If you’re heading to the markets tomorrow, please drop by and say hello! We’d love to have a chat, show you what we’ve been working on and perhaps help you find something special for your home.

🚐✨ TOMORROW IS MARKET DAY! ✨🚐

Tomorrow we’ll be at the Bowral Public School Markets, which means today is all about packing the van!

Now, if you’ve ever wondered how much we can actually fit into our van, let me tell you… it’s definitely a combination of a giant jigsaw puzzle and the TARDIS! 😂 Every time we pack it, I’m amazed at just how much we manage to squeeze in!

🧡😂 A LITTLE CHANGE OF DIRECTION! 😂🧡

Now, this one was a complete departure from my usual style!

Most people who know me know that orange pine is probably my LEAST favourite timber look, so you might be wondering what on earth I’ve done here! 🤣

Well, this table was one of our recent commission pieces, and our lovely clients had a very specific request. Their table was showing a little too much love and wear, and they wanted us to remove as much of the damage as possible before restaining it in its original colour.

And yes, you guessed it… ORANGE PINE! 😱😂

Rather than transforming it into something completely different, our job was to restore it as closely as possible to its original look while giving it a much-needed refresh.

✨ And here’s the result! ✨

We managed to remove most of the damage and bring the table back to life, all while keeping that familiar orange pine finish our clients wanted.

And the best part? Our lovely clients are very happy with the result! ❤️

It’s a great reminder that furniture reimagining isn’t always about changing something to suit our own tastes. Sometimes it’s about respecting what a piece means to its owner, giving it some much-needed TLC and helping it continue to be loved for years to come.

Even if it IS orange pine! 🤣🧡

At Highlands Revamp, it’s all about helping you love your furniture for longer. 🤍

✨🤍 A VISION BROUGHT TO LIFE! 🤍✨

Some projects are quite the journey, and this gorgeous combination certainly was — for both us and the very lovely, very patient owner of these pieces! 🥰

We initially finished the drawers to provide heaps of extra storage, but finding the perfect hutch to complete the vision proved to be a little more challenging than we anticipated!

The drawers were relatively easy to source, but the right hutch? Well, she just wouldn’t reveal herself! 😂

Eventually, we found a gorgeous old buffet and hutch that we knew would suit the vision beautifully. Of course, as is often the case with older pieces, she needed quite a bit of love and attention, including a brand-new bottom shelf, lots of stabilising and plenty of repairs.

A HUGE thank you to Kirk for all his hard work behind the scenes! ❤️

And now, we can finally stand back and admire the finished result — our client’s vision brought to life! ✨

This beautiful vintage display piece is now being used to showcase a stunning handbag collection (just quietly, I’m a little envious of this gorgeous collection! 😉👜), along with other precious memories that deserve to be displayed and enjoyed.

This is exactly why we love what we do at Highlands Revamp. Sometimes it’s not about finding one perfect piece, but about patience, creativity, problem-solving and bringing different pieces together to create something truly special. 🤍

💕 A LITTLE THANK YOU FROM US!

To all our wonderful clients, thank you for trusting us with your ideas and your treasured pieces. Your support means more than you could ever know, and without you, I wouldn’t be able to live my dream the way I do!

Here’s to more furniture reimagined, treasured collections displayed and beautiful visions brought to life. ✨

✨ A VISION BROUGHT TO LIFE! ✨

Some projects are a little more straightforward than others, and this gorgeous combination was quite the journey for both us and the very lovely, very patient owner of these pieces! 🤍

We initially finished the drawers to provide heaps of extra storage, but finding the perfect hutch to complete the vision proved to be a little more challenging than we anticipated!

Although the drawers were relatively easy to source, the right hutch just wouldn’t reveal itself. We searched and waited, until eventually we found a gorgeous old buffet and hutch that we knew would work beautifully with the vision our client had in mind. 🥰

Of course, as is often the case with older pieces, the hutch needed quite a bit of love and attention before it was ready for its new role. This included a brand-new bottom shelf, plenty of stabilising and a fair amount of repairs. A huge thank you to Kirk for all his work behind the scenes! ❤️

And now, we can finally stand back and admire the finished result — our client's vision brought to life!

This beautiful vintage display piece is now home to a stunning handbag collection (just quietly, I'm a little envious of this gorgeous collection! 😉), along with other precious memories that deserve to be displayed and enjoyed.

This is exactly why we love what we do at Highlands Revamp. It's not always about finding a finished piece that fits perfectly. Sometimes it's about patience, a little creativity, plenty of problem-solving and bringing different pieces together to create something truly special and meaningful.

Your trust, your support and the opportunity to bring your ideas to life mean more to us than you could ever know. Without you, I wouldn't be able to live my dream the way I do, and for that, I am incredibly grateful.
