Furniture Design at its best - a side table with subtle nods to its piano origins. The plain cut walnut top from the piano's side forms the floating table top. Burl walnut is used as a highlight on drawer front and interior. Contrasting tapered spruce legs (cut from the piano's backposts) complete the modern look. This is what copper metal from 14 pianos looks like - we sent off around 40kg of bass strings to our local Dandy Copper Recyclers today. Zero waste and closed loop recycling!

This is Thurmer #40 - called "Topaz" still looking fabulous at age 130 thanks to the wonderful and innovative woodworking skills of Lorenzo Rossetti We find that lots of Thurmer piano owners want to have their pianos transformed because the German burl walnut swirls are just so beautiful 😍♻🎹

We recently donated this beautiful Lipp Claviola, called "Larissa" to Mont Albert Village as part of the ABC's Pop-Up Piano Programme. About 30% of the pianos that we bring in are kept as working instruments- just requiring Mike's Magic in cleaning, repair, regulating and tuning to bring them back to life again
