Really enjoyed the Meyer Sound PA. I don’t often get to mix on Meyer, but I like it a lot.

The best thing about digital audio platforms, where you can’t do anything without looking at some kind of information on acreens, is taking it all outside in the sun, where you can’t see anything on any of said screens.

(I mean, arguably, I can’t really see them anyway, so it’s pretty much situation normal for me 🤣).

British Airways ARC you were fun!

Another epic show with the mighty McFLY , this time at the brand new venue in Kensington Olympia.

Sadly this was the last show for Mrs Me Ozztashey Ozz , who, after driving me to Newmarket to catch up with the Five crew, heads off to Croatia for a week on a cruise before she goes home to Australia.

It’s been brilliant having her around for a few weeks, getting to be a part of the fun of touring. And I am super grateful for her chauffeuring services!!

Right then - now for a quick hoof to Newmarket and hopefully a couple of hours sleep before lobby call in the morning…

Thetford Forest : as days go, you certainly were one…

Now let’s go to London, have five hours sleep, then do it all again, but indoors and hopefully with a few less stressful moments…

Today has been a day of awesomeness.

Did a gig in the awesome Lincoln Castle with the awesome McFLY on the awesome DiGiCo Quantum 7 with awesome KLANG:technologies immersive ears mixes.

And I have the pleasure of my awesome other half Ozztashey Ozz keeping me cOzztashey Ozziving the rock’n’roll dream.

Had a lovely day at fac365 ltd prepping the control package for the next few McFly shows.

Good to be back on one of Solotech UK Group ‘s DiGiCo Quantum 7 consoles with a trusty KLANG:technologies Konduktor neatly placed in the Optocore loop so it can talk to both engines of the desk.

The SD/Quantum 7 is still my favourite of all the DiGiCo surfaces, even though it’s an almost 20 year old desk. I’d take one on every tour, If budget and logistics allowed.

Didn’t get any good pics last night - but what an awesome show at Download Festival on the Doghouse Stage with Five.

A bit weird mixing FOH facing sideways located off Stage Right, but fun, all the same.

Also my first time on a DiGiCo Quantum 326, as there wasn’t room for me to put my touring package in. It’s a great little desk, but I definitely prefer the three fader banks.

Good to see my old mate Kevin Mobberley and a few of the lads. Thanks for looking after us!!

Now I’m off to Rochdale to prep another control package for the next few shows with McFLY

And very grateful I am that has come over to the UK to drive me around between shows.

Yesterday was her first British summer festival experience at FOH with Five in Weston Super Mare, and today is her first experience at monitors listening to my cue mix with the awesome , who played an absolute blinder in Southampton.

She’ll be a full time roadie soon…
