October 2026 has been a busy time with acquiring new clients and ensuring business is running smoothly.

Being a sole cleaning business owner and operator means you carry so much responsibility. The ending of this month brings reflections of what didn’t happen and how to build more value for clients in November.

It has also been a wonderful time celebrating my birthday season with family and friends. Funny enough it seemed Greek was the theme for my birthday. I was lucky to celebrate birthday dinners at the Santorini restaurant and George’s Paragon restaurant. It’s moments like this that balance my life and work.

Big thank you to everyone that supports my business. My goal is to deliver better outcomes and look forward to November 2026.

Stay blessed ❤️

Lord Rupert my tabby cat loves quiet moments behind curtains. This happens after zooming round the room.

A dream come true to hang up my cleaning tools today and go overseas on a family trip.. wow after 17 years of no holidays, I can’t wait to go on a well earned trip.

Appreciate all my clients who have been supportive and understanding that GS Cleaning Services based in Clayfield will be closed for business during my time away. I look forward to seeing you all again when I return.

One thing I cannot do without in my line of work as a cleaning business is always making sure I have the right PPE.

After years of suffering from contact dermatitis from chemicals, working in extreme weather conditions, stress, using the wrong types of gloves such as latex and nitrile caused recurring flare up and breakouts on my hands every 3 to 6 months.

The healing of my scarred hands normally took another 3-6 months to heal.

However a miracle took place a year ago when I discovered this vinyl powder free gloves which has changed my life as it has been 9 months since I had a flare up.

My hands have fully recovered and It makes my job as a professional cleaner worth it and the value these gloves offer protection for my hands.

Please share this information with other cleaners or anyone who experience this conditions and want a solution.

I am interested to hear what PPE you think works best and why????
