Designed as a contemporary duplex, this Ascot residence balances refined materiality with intelligent spatial planning, creating two homes that feel both connected and distinctly their own.

Natural light filters through carefully positioned voids and landscaped courtyards, bringing warmth, greenery and a sense of openness deep into the interiors.

Layered textures, soft architectural forms and thoughtful detailing create spaces that feel sophisticated yet inviting — homes designed not just to be admired, but to be lived in.

Positioned high on a steep Auchenflower hillside, the pool is formed completely out of ground. From the water’s edge, the outlook stretches all the way down the valley towards the city.

The pool is framed by NewTechWood decking, which never needs staining, so it stays easy to look after year-round 🏡

Connecting three levels in a compact home, without it feeling closed in, called for careful design. The answer was a staircase at the heart of the home, with open timber treads and a slender white steel screen that let natural light and views flow from one level to the next. The result feels like one connected home rather than three separate floors.

Warm hardwood against crisp white walls keeps the space calm and bright, and made for everyday family life 🏠

A high-end Queenslander raise and build, perched on a steeply sloping site with sweeping views across Brisbane.

The project involved the complete design and interiors, transforming the existing Queenslander into a refined contemporary home while retaining the character and charm of the original dwelling.

Designed around the site’s natural fall, the home makes the most of its elevated position, opening living spaces towards the city views and creating a strong connection between the home, landscape and outlook.
