Extra Large Parrot Stand Example
This stand was an absolute monster and definitely a new Perch Tailor favourite. Meticulously cleaned to maintain the natural texture and grain of the wood. Lots of rope wrapped branches on this one creating texture, and variety and including a feature 80mm thick rope bridge. Designed for a Blue & Gold Macaw and an Amazon, it stands an impressive 2.2m tall and weighs an eye-watering 38.5kg. Supported by a 12kg Eucalyptus base!

Medium Parrot Stand Example
Out-did myself on this one 😉 This stand went to a family of 3 different parrots, so catering for their varied perch and diet needs features in the design. A seagrass mat, spiral rope, bell and double-sided chew toy provides plenty of space for 3. Standing just over 6ft tall and weighing 18kg.

Small/Medium Parrot Stand Example
After an intense clean, his burly piece of Banksia was transformed into a striking stand. Post oiling, the bark resembles black dragon skin with accents of deep red made this a truly one of a kind piece. Also featuring another Perch Tailor first - a 'solid' rope ladder! This stand was also built as a flat-pack, for ease of transport. At only 4ft tall, weighing a hefty 18kg.

Small/Medium Parrot Stand Example
This magnificent stand went to a little Scaly Breasted Lorikeet.
Starting with a thorough clean, I managed to retain the natural ribbed texture of the branches. The natural curves of this stock allowed me to incorporate some unique design elements like the floating rope branch above the suspended seagrass net. Standard accessories included with the addition of a new sleeker bell design. Standing just over 6ft tall and weighing a solid 18kg, this stand was an absolute stunner! 😁

Designed and built as a flat-pack for easy transport and assembly. Featuring a platform, 2 stainless steel bowls, a rope swing and a toy. Each branch is colour coded for assembly.

This stand went to an Alexandrine. Featuring a stunning triple fork feature perch and inclined rope perch. A refined and elegant design. Standing 6ft tall and weighing a comfortable 19kg.

Hopefully she'll be singing about this stand in no time. Featuring 2 large stainless steel bowls, a stainless steel bell, a ladder, a platform, rope perch and a toy. The design called for this one to be a bit shorter than usual at 1.75m with a solid weight of 20kg.
