We’re kicking off our Meet the Team with the people who started it all: Wayne and Alison, the founders of Inspired Home Living.
Wayne Lee Blinds began back in November 1983, before expanding into Inspired Home Living in December 2016. Over the years, the business has grown and changed, but one thing has remained the same, a passion for great products and great customer service!
🟩 What do you love most about IHL?
For Wayne, it’s seeing customers happy with their purchases and hearing how much people enjoy seeing his grandson in our TV ads!
Alison loves the diversity of the business and watching it grow and change over the years. “It isn’t always easy, but I love what we do.”
🟨 What’s it like working together?
After all these years, Alison says they’ve become a pretty great team, with a shared goal of offering great products and making sure their customers receive the best possible service.
Wayne says Alison is “such an asset to the business” and is exceptionally good with customers, accounts and orders.
Although, according to Wayne, he does annoy her a bit. Apparently it makes good entertainment for the staff! 🤪
🟪 And when you’re not at work?
Wayne enjoys playing tennis in the local competition and watching AFL.
Alison loves spending time with her kids and grandkids, and walking the Sundown Trail.
