The Chamber is exploring a mentoring program for Bungendore and district businesses, and we'd love to hear from you before we shape it.

☕ Been in business a while? You might enjoy mentoring someone. That means sharing what you've learnt over a monthly coffee and helping another local business find its feet.

🌱 Starting out, growing, or just want a sounding board? You might like to be mentored by someone who knows what running a business around here is really like.

Lots of people would be happy to do both, and that's great too.

Our AGM on Tuesday 17 November is your chance to help shape the future of business in Bungendore. Come along, hear what we've been working on, and have your say on our proposed new name, Business in Bungendore.

Completed nomination forms are due to the Secretary by 5:00pm Tuesday 10 November. Nominations must be proposed and seconded by financial members. To request a nomination form, email [email protected].

A huge thank you to Bungendore Leather & Trading ❤️

After many years on the best and busiest corner in town, the team at Bungendore Leather & Trading are closing their doors and starting a new chapter in Narooma.

For so many of us, the shop has been part of what makes Bungendore feel like home. You've been there for the locals, the Kings Highway travellers, the morning chats with joggers and dog walkers, and the kangaroo leather belts that are still going strong 20 years later. You've also given back so much to our schools, service clubs, charities and volunteers.

Thank you for your friendship, your support for the community and everything you've added to our main street. We'll miss you on that corner, and we wish you all the very best with the grandkids, the travel and whatever comes next. 🥰

If you can, pop in today to say hi, give them a hug and say thanks in person.

🎄 Calling all Bungendore businesses: entries for the 2026 Bungendore Christmas Parade close this Sunday, 1 November!

The parade is on Saturday 5 December from 3pm along Gibraltar Street. It's a great way to show off your business and be part of a much-loved community event.

Deck out a float, ute, trailer, tricycle, bike, scooter, pram or yourself, and march, walk or dance down the street. There's a prize for the best entry! 🏆

The Chamber is proudly supporting the parade, and we'd love to see local businesses well represented.

A new chapter for Sage Natural Living Bungendore NSW 🌿

A big Bungendore welcome to Helena, the new owner of Sage Natural Living Bungendore NSW on Ellendon Street! And a heartfelt thank you to Louise for all the years of beautiful clothing, homewares and natural luxury. Enjoy your retirement, Louise. You'll be missed.

Sage reopens this Saturday 31 October with a grand opening from 9am to 6pm. There's gorgeous new stock, new country clothing lines from BLACK C**T CLOTHING and Hitchley & Harrow, and Sage is joining in the Halloween celebrations too.

From then on, Sage is open Thursday to Tuesday, 9.30am to 4pm (closed Wednesdays).

🎃 Halloween in Bungendore is this Saturday!

Kim and the team at Santas Secret Bungendore are hosting a free community Halloween afternoon on Saturday 31 October, 3–6pm. Sixteen local businesses will open their doors for trick-or-treating around the town centre. Grab a costume and a treat bag, and follow the map from door to door.

📅 Save the date: our Annual General Meeting is on Tuesday 17 November.

The Bungendore Chamber of Commerce & Industry (BCCI) AGM runs from 7:30am to 9:00am at The Malbon, 2 Malbon Street, Bungendore.

This year is a big one. Members will vote on a special resolution to change our name from Bungendore Chamber of Commerce & Industry Incorporated to Business in Bungendore Incorporated. Our purpose stays the same: supporting and championing local business.

We'll also hear from the President and Treasurer, look back on the past year, and elect the 2026–2027 Executive Committee.

Attendance is free. Tea and coffee are on us, and breakfast is available to buy from Eric's food van ☕

This breakfast is an important opportunity for our local business community to hear more about the proposed new direction for the Chamber, ask questions, share perspectives and be part of the conversation about what comes next.

No final decision will be made on Wednesday — eligible members will vote at the formal meeting the following week.

📣 BCCI BUSINESS BREAKFAST — NEW DATE

We’re pleased to announce the new date for our upcoming BCCI Business Breakfast, and we’d love to see our local business community there.

This breakfast will be more than an opportunity to connect and network. It will also mark the beginning of an important conversation about the future of the Bungendore Chamber of Commerce.

At the breakfast, we’ll present a proposed new direction for BCCI and share our vision for what the Chamber could look like moving forward.

We want our members and the wider business community to:
• Hear what is being proposed
• Ask questions
• Share their perspectives
• Consider how they may like to be involved in the future

Importantly, this breakfast is about introducing and discussing the proposal — no final decision will be made on the day.
A formal meeting will be held the following week, where eligible members will have the opportunity to vote on the proposed direction. We will share further details about the meeting and voting process shortly.
