She thought it was the best thing ever and wouldn’t go away, so she’s in just about every one of my photos.

These bedside tables have been beautifully hand crafted from real timber, you just couldn’t see it through the very dark and very brown original stain & finishing. So after about a weeks worth of sanding (not joking!) and a subtle wash of paint, the timber and grain is now on show and looking lovely- classic but with a modern twist.

Here it is, finished!
We found this basketball ring on the side of the road but it was missing its backboard- so the kids and I made one. No way were we going to do the standard white 😂
It’s bright and super colourful in Pureco neon chalk paints + Carbon (the black).
We sealed it with Pureco’s super tough, exterior grade Satin sealer so it’ll handle its job well.
We’re so pleased with how it turned out!

The kids and I have been working on something.
It was great seeing the kids just go for it, no need to be neat or perfect, doing whatever they felt like. It got really messy, but I think that’s half the fun sometimes.

Well, the time has come 😢
I’ve decided to close my stall at Hunted and I’m a bit bummed about it! I began my stall 4 years ago as a place where I could sell my painted furniture and contribute to the family income (while still doing all the school drop offs, pick ups, housework and stuff…) BUT, it’s now getting really, really hard to do that and it’s just not making the money it used to. So it’s time to move on! I’ll still be painting furniture but I’ll be selling here on my FB page and FB Marketplace (groan!). As for the next adventure, I have no idea yet, we’ll see what happens 😄

Well, my babies are back at school which means my holidays have come to an end.
Here’s a fence we built and painted the other day…it wasn’t half as fun as painting furniture! Cant wait to get back into it!

Well it’s been a while (again), I hope your year is wrapping up nicely. It’s such a busy time of year I haven’t been able to paint anything lately so here’s one from a few years ago.
We got this fireplace surround free on Marketplace and the kids painted it for Christmas. We usually do one big Christmas craft before the big day, this one was The Best!! the kids loved doing it too ❤️🎄

I had wanted to show you all four of the doll/witches houses I painted but I only finished two of them in time 😅 I’m definitely a one project at a time kinda girl!

Fairy crowns 🧚🏻‍♀️
My niece has a dress up day tomorrow at school and she’s going as a fairy, so I made her a fairy crown. After all that Halloween-ing, gosh it was nice to make something pretty!!
I’ve decided to make more, and Christmas themed ones as well.
