l'll be honest, my first reaction to rules is typically less 'big smile' & generally more... ‘uggh, do I HAVE to?' Complete with whiney 2 yr old voice.

But this one is kinda important so hear me out🤔

Celebrants must now talk to each of you separately before your wedding day.
It's a consent thing.

Because legally, us celebrants cannot marry you if we feel like you're being pressured into it.
Not a regular thing but sadly, sometimes a thing.

So when I steal your partner away for a tick, it's not cos l'm a creep, it's cos I'm doing my job ✔️✔️

Once upon a time, a beautiful bride married her charming groom in a magical forest...
There was laughter, tears, & a perfectly synced confetti throw. And it was amazing!

Zoe & Travis, as I was setting up for your ceremony, I had such a good feeling…could have been the perfect weather, the serenity of the bush chapel, or those beautiful strings playing. But really, it was knowing I was about to marry two gorgeous, fun people with such a solid connection 💕
