From The Vault - I had lots of fun creating a suitable background and theme for these headphones back at Tafe in 2015. We were provided with the headphone 3D model and then had to apply materials and lighting to produce some marketing presentation ideas. This was a retro idea at the time but I actually remember when this album was first released back in 1994. It was very fresh sounding back then.

Welding up the steel frame for our CNC machine - Sparkhaus Maker Space! Once you get into the flow I find welding so relaxing. It's kinda like intense CAD work, sketching or playing music, you get totally lost in it. Love it all.

Simple cardboard and paper physical models (accurately scaled) can really help in assisting a client in designing the best layout options for product displays, industry conferences and layouts where limitations on walk space and foot traffic are important to understand. This can be a fun collaborative jigsaw to solve.

The great thing about modelling in 3D is you can get a deeper understanding of the physical build before committing to carve up expensive materials! It's also a great visualisation tool for viewing ideas very accurately. Stay tuned for some realistic image renders!
