Eight boats. One island. Are you in? 🇮🇹

Villasimius, Sardinia. 6–8 November. Eight WASZP sailors, from different nations, invited to race.

Boat, bed and meals are on the organisers, with brand-new V2 rudders on the charter boats. You bring your helmet and your flight to Cagliari, plus your own 8.2 sail only if you can, otherwise will be provided by the organisers.
The call is open to male sailors only since only 8.2 is available.
Selection will be based largely on the 8.2 international ranking.

Nine races, three wind regimes, three overall winners.🏆🇮🇹

The series covered everything: Peler and Ora on Day 1, a steady 10–14 knots on Day 2, and a Spartan final race in 18–23 knots, rain and heavy chop where boat handling counted more than anything.

🏆8.2 – Francesco Carrieri wins by five points over Mosè Bellomi, with Jacopo Travaini third.
🏆7.5 – Olivia Castaldi closes with a twelve-point margin and the lowest score of the event, ahead of Riccardo Bille and D. Balenzano.
🏆6.9 – Jacopo Andrian takes the title by four points, with Matteo Ravaioli edging Sebastian Faccoli on countback for second.

This is what Lake Garda does best. 🌬️
A steady 10–14 knot Ora and four course races on Day 2. Francesco Carrieri takes the lead in the 8.2 and Jacopo Andrian moves to the top of the 6.9, while Olivia Castaldi stays out front in the 7.5.
One point separates the top two in the 6.9. Everything to play for tomorrow.

Four races on Day 1: three course races and a slalom series to finish. Close at the top, with just one point separating the leaders in the 8.2 and the 6.9 still level on points.
Mosè Bellomi leads the 8.2, Olivia Castaldi the 7.5, and Elisa Bombana the 6.9.

Malcesine, road to Garda 2027 starts here. 🇮🇹

44 sailors, three rigs, one national title on the line. The Foil Italian Championship starts today on Lake Garda: 25 boats on the 8.2, 9 on the 7.5 and 10 on the 6.9, with 4 nations participating.
Four days of racing at Fraglia Vela Malcesine. Stay tuned.

Ten years ago, the WASZP Games were born on Lake Garda. In 2027, we’re bringing them home.

27 June – 7 July 2027 · Lake Garda, Italy

300+ boats. 30+ nations. One lake.
Set to be the biggest dinghy foiling event ever staged.

Block One · 27 June – 1 July · Junior (5.8 & 6.9) and Masters
Block Two · 2 – 7 July · Open Championship 8.2 and 7.5

Both blocks will be sailed at the northern end of the lake, hosted by Federazione Italiana Vela in its centenary year with Consorzio Garda Trentino Vela – on the waters where foiling legends are made.

This is a milestone event not to be missed.
All WASZP sailors, family and friends are invited to this iconic regatta to celebrate with the SWARM in one of the worlds most special sailing venues.
