My partner and I enjoy turning furniture from drab to fab, for me it started in 2020 when COVID hit our shores.

Having to work from home for months it became a great outlet for me.

Our little hall table found a home to call its own over the weekend

So I have choosen to go with wallpaper in the centre of the draws, with a high gloss finish in the centre and a satin finish on the fronts.

Bit more progress
Smaller draws on the unit are now teal, still deciding on whether I put wallpaper in the center or not. See how they go over night, as they need to cure.
This bedroom suite will be up for sale once completed due to customer pulling out.

How long does the decoupage process take for a drawer, considering this tallboy requires roughly an hour per drawer? Observing the drawer's face reveals unevenness and multiple lip layers, requiring five separate paper cutouts and applications. This unfinished example demonstrates the complexity, with seven drawers still to go

The 6-hour session today centered on decoupage application for the bedside table drawers. The tallboy and bedside tables have been completed with their final paint coats. Tomorrow will mark the commencement of decoupage work on the tallboy's front, contingent upon paint curing. Additional steps will include applying matt lacquer, staining top surfaces, and multiple wax coatings. A substantial amount of work remains.
