Read this πThe Village community, friends of the village π
Our solar system has been providing heaps of electricity for all of us visiting, working, making art, fixing things, maintaining and charging, day to day activities. Unfortunately, our expensive battery bank ($2800) has to be replaced and we are not yet having all the funds available we need to get them changed. I have payed and installed it all myself a few years back while I was just on my own creating this space for future vision of community living. We are now a few people using this space regularly to stay and create together, taking care of the land, plant trees and eatable garden etc.
I am reaching out to anyone who would love to support us in this financially to be able to buy new batteries to keep being off the grid and be having a healthy system for the next 8/10 years.
I am myself supporting the community and people who are part of this with me today, I volunteer most of my life in helping others and protect the environment, create community, sustainability and alternative living.
I donβt earn much money and will never be on the doll.
I am, on behalf of everyone, part of The Village community, asking for generosity and kind support to keep this going and to help myself getting relief as I am struggling with trying to hold it all together in a sustainable way, maintain, create and maintaining myself serine at the same time as I feel down and lie like the batteries πβ

Another direct action having a direct great impact on the environment saving water, bringing awareness about composting, giving it back to the soil.
We have built a few composting toilets in the past 5 years and if they are built well and used well they are the best way to save water, saving energy, giving it back to the soil when itβs fully broken down and safe.
We have been following the full process and when it is all broken down, you get a great fertiliser that doesnβt smell full off good micro organisms to feed growing plants π±
This toilet we have built in France with 99% recycled, salvaged materials that did not cost the earth π
Using sawdust for free from a sawmill down the road.
Itβs not going back in time. Itβs a simple solution to waste drinkable and precious water. Not polluting waterways and save energy as it cost to retreat the water that are usually not fully free of different medication and other pollutants coming out of the water and suage treatment management facilities.
Another great reason is to save money on your water bill. Is that crazy to s**t and p*e in drinking water and have to pay for it?! π€¨π§π€
Not always easy to change things around and the system is making it difficult. Also it is surely not an option if you do not live in the adequate place.
What we are trying to say is theyβre many options and things you can do to help the earth and make a difference. If many people try it makes a huge impact and it is the most important.
Live simply, consuming as less as possible things, doesnβt mean youβll be less happy, reconnect with outdoor activities and learn new ways of getting excited about what the nature is offering you.
Love people, not things
Be kind
Love the nature as it is a part of you
Respect it
Protect it
Save it ππ³ππ€π±

SebyLesty Environmental Actions
We are going to start building a tiny house on a trailer in about 2 weeks. Using recycled and salvaged materials. Will also be open for skill shares and work shops. We want to share our experience with others to give everyone interested an opportunity to learn about using tools and building things. Youβre welcome to join us even if youβre only curious ππ³πππ‘
