🚛 WE’RE HIRING – WORKSHOP ALL-ROUNDER / TRADE ASSISTANT 🔧

John C Beaumont Earthmoving is looking for a reliable and hands-on person to join our heavy vehicle and machinery workshop in the Ipswich area.

This role would suit someone who is mechanically minded, enjoys working around trucks and machinery, and is happy to help out with a variety of jobs.

The role will include:

- Basic servicing and maintenance
- Oil and filter changes, greasing and general upkeep
- Assisting mechanics and fitters
- Fuel runs and refuelling plant and equipment
- Collecting parts and workshop supplies
- Washing and preparing trucks and machinery
- General workshop and yard duties

What we’re looking for:

- Current HR Driver Licence
- Experience around trucks, machinery or a workshop environment
- Basic mechanical knowledge
- Confident using hand and power tools
- Reliable with a good work ethic
- White Card, or willing to obtain one
- Forklift Licence preferred but not essential

Previous experience with earthmoving equipment, trucks, trailers or diesel machinery would be highly regarded.

This is a varied, hands-on role and would suit someone who enjoys getting in and helping wherever needed.
