Today’s jobs ☺️ (well the photo worthy ones at least). Always a satisfying way to end the week with some sail installs 👌🏻 These two making us really long for summer 🏊♀️☀️
That curved deck is just perfection 😍 our customer was chasing the morning sun and afternoon shade while still keeping those beautiful views ☺️

Some jobs completed in the last week. Variety is the spice of life in this field 🥰 and just out of interest from all of last weeks completed jobs 5 were repeat customers which is what makes me the most happy & proud and drives Geoff to do a great job for them. Thanks guys!
And special thanks to Col for the great review - we really appreciate you 😁
Wanna see Geoff turn a roll of material into a boat cover?
Steps 1…2 (miss a few) 99…100 💫 it’s that easy!
I think we can all tell by the facials Geoff is loving the spotlight… I reckon I’ll be definitely making more reels like these 🤔

What you see vs what you don’t see
Another ski boat cover coming together….
And what you also don’t see, Geoff rolling his eyes wondering what the point of me posting this on fb is….Answer: I don’t actually know… I just want to show more of your stubborn stickler for quality, borderline ocd personality I guess 🤔

Geoff isn't one for overcomplicating things.
If it lasts, works well and makes life easier for the customer, that's usually where he'll start. Then comes finding the right balance between function and aesthetics.
I thought it might be interesting to start sharing a bit of the thinking behind the work we do, starting with shade sails.
Hopefully there's something in there that's helpful. And while you're there, feel free to have a look around the new website I finished up over the weekend😊

Today’s offices 😍
A replacement sail at The Shores. (How good is their view out there….and this sail colour is one of my favs - Laguna Blue 🩵)
New canvas canopy and mesh screens at the marina. Privacy - but still with the view👌🏻
And a fresh replacement residential shade sail.
Never the same job twice… and we wouldn’t have it any other way.
And look at me go keeping our page alive with updates - I’m on a roll here! - Paula

What an honour it is to have GP Motor Trimming on these awesome new Breakout Athlete jackets. 🙌
We’re proud to support what we believe is one of the very best rugby league development programs for young athletes in Mackay. Led by former NRL and Super League player Manu Ma’u, Breakout Athlete is helping the next generation reach their potential, both on and off the field.
It’s great to see opportunities like this available locally. Mackay is really stepping up, and we are here for it. 👏🔥

What a perfect weekend it was for boating… we hope all our marine clients got to head out on the water ☀️🚤
We were very envious but it also happened to be the perfect weekend to be hanging 6 metres in the air on a cherry picker so we had to take advantage of the calm weather to install these new school playground shade sails instead.

As the 2025/26 financial year comes to a close, I've been buried in EOFY paperwork and reflecting on what has been a huge year for our little family business.
One thing that has made me smile recently is the number of people who have asked whether Geoff is semi-retired. The truth is quite the opposite but I do get why it looks like we have slowed down.
Between Geoff, myself and our five busy boys, life is never quiet, but somehow over the last year we still managed to complete more than 278 projects across Mackay and surrounding regions while taking a two-month family break along the way.
From shade sails and marine trimming to industrial covers, tonneaus, canopies, so many sets of boat clears, gym equipment and everything in between, we're incredibly grateful for the support we've received from our customers, suppliers and community.
Here's a quick snapshot of our year. 👇
Thank you for supporting our small family business.
